Maddox Industries unveils its design specs on its new Electric Class II Ambulance. On many islands such as Puerto Rico, USVI, and countries as Bahamas and BVI there are heavy excise taxes on Class II – IV vehicles. However often there is 100% tax exemptions on plugin vehicles. at Maddox Industries we realize the importance of this tax savings that also creates an environmentally friendly service vehicle for the islands. We have been designing and consulting on ambulance deliveries for sometime including Class II ambulances for the Public Hospital Authority in the Bahamas where during national disasters gasoline and Diesel fuel reserves can run low. We believe that EV ambulances provide an additional secure infrastructure that can charge from Hospital power plants when fuel is scarce.
We have worked with the Hospital Authorities to design and deliver Class II ambulances and in discussions on EV models and charging infrastructure in several island nations.
